fuckyeahmarvelstudios: Marvel Studios gave a first (official) look at the logos for Thor and Captain America at this year’s Licensing International Expo, and ComicBookMovie.com was able to get photos from the event. SlashFilm.com cleaned them up into the spiffy shape seen above. There have been a few logos for both movies floating around the internet lately, so it’s nice to see that a few of them were the real deal. Both look good to me! Simple, yet effective. Entertainment Tonight got the first look at Thor in this set video found by SlashFilm. In it, we get our first full looks at Thor, Odin, and Jane Foster. They also speak with stars Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman as well as director Kenneth Branagh.

Wow, Marvel’s really getting the marketing ball rolling quick! I never expected to see a set video this soon.

Goodbye, Master Frazetta…

Legendary artist Frank Frazetta has passed away at the age of 82.

Along with Drew Struzan and Brom, Master Frazetta has been a tremendous influence on my painted work. In this world of digital imagery, the death of Frank Frazetta is a significant loss to traditional fantasy art.
